Background
Yuliia Pavlivna Petrenko, born in 1994. She received her primary education at the Romny school #2 named after A.F. Joffe, Ukraine. In 2012, following the call of her heart, she entered the Faculty of Chemistry of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, at the educational level of Bachelor, and later - Master. In 2018, she graduated with honors earning the Master title: ''Chemist, Junior Researcher, and Lecturer in Higher Education Institution''. At 2018 - 2022 she was a PhD student of the Department of Inorganic Chemistry of Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv. PhD thesis by the supervision of Prof. Rostyslav Lampeka, was focused on the synthesis, structural characterization and researching physical and chemical properties of copper(II) and iron(II) coordination compounds with a series of 3,5-disubstituted 1,2,4-triazoles. During her studies, the applicant completed an internship, and later worked as a chemist in the organic synthesis laboratory of UkrOrgSyntez Ltd. (UORSY), where she gained significant experience in the field of applied organic synthesis.
With the start of Russian-Ukrainian war, from beginning of 2022 to the present, she is a researcher in the RTMM team, where her primary responsibilities are the synthesis and investigations of new triazole-based coordination compounds for further integrating into spintronic devices. In the 2023 Yuliia obtained Maria Skladovska-Curie fellowship in order to study more deeply the area of her research in the field of application of iron(II) complexes in spin-crossover materials in the group of prof. Eugenio Coronado.
