José J. Baldoví, head of the 2D Smart Materials Lab (2DSmartMat) at the Instituto de Ciencia Molecular (ICMol) of the University of Valencia, took part today in the session “Bridges of Innovation: University, Business and Society Working Together” at the Valencia Digital Summit 2025 (VDS2025).
In his talk, titled “Nanoscience for a Sustainable Future”, Baldoví addressed how advances in molecular and nanomaterials can contribute to sustainability and innovation. He also participated in a round table alongside Pilar Domingo-Calap, Belén Franch, Rosa María Baños and Manuel Pérez-Alonso, in a session chaired by Lucía Hipólito. The discussion focused on the challenges and opportunities to bring cutting-edge research closer to society and transform knowledge into real-world impact.
The Valencia Digital Summit (VDS) is one of Europe’s leading international technology events and a key platform positioning Valencia as a global tech hub. Organised by Startup Valencia, the summit has brought together startups, major corporations, investors and institutions at the City of Arts and Sciences since 2018.
