The head of CEPSA's R&D Project Management Centre, Juana Frontela, visited the Institute of Molecular Science (ICMol) of the University of Valencia this Thursday to learn in detail about the centre's lines of research and to analyse potential collaborations in areas such as advanced materials for the energy transition.

Frontela held a working meeting with the director of ICMol, Professor of Inorganic Chemistry Eugenio Coronado, and with the head of the Innovation and Transfer area, Manuel Quesada. With both, she reviewed areas of common interest and later visited part of the facilities, laboratories and advanced equipment of the institute, located in the Science Park of the University of Valencia.

A chemical engineer by training, Frontela also had the opportunity to talk with the heads of some of the research groups integrated in ICMol. She visited several of the centre's laboratories, one of its clean rooms and got to know first-hand some of the projects in which ICMol is involved, an interdisciplinary institute between Chemistry and Physics, specialising in the molecular aspects of Nanoscience and which has had the María de Maeztu seal of approval from the Ministry of Science and Innovation since 2015.
