International mobility grants (second year International Intensive Course)

PROGRAM: The present call is made in the framework of mobility grants to promote internationalization in the European Master in Theoretical and Computational Modelling Chemistry (EMTCCM) under the VLC / CAMPUS program - Valencia, International Campus of Excellence - , a project driven with funds from the Spanish "Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia" through the International Campus of Excellence program.
(PROGRAMA: Convocatoria de ayudas de movilidad para fomentar la internacionalización del European Master in Theoretical and Computational Modelling Chemistry (EMTCCM) en el marco del VLC/CAMPUS -Valencia, International Campus of Excellence- proyecto impulsado con fondos del Ministerio de Educación y Ciencia mediante el programa Campus de Excelencia Internacional)
PURPOSE: Mobility assistance to students enrolled in the master for travel, inscription and accommodation expenses required to participate in the (International) Intensive Course organized in a foreign (not Spanish) University as a part of the academic structure of the second year of the master.
(OBJETO: Ayuda al desplazamiento, incripción y alojamiento de estudiantes matriculados en el master para asistir al curso intensivo internacional en universidad no española que forma parte de la estructura del segundo año del master).
WHO CAN APPLY: Students having completed the first year of the European Master in Theoretical Chemistry and Computational Modelling at University of Valencia in the 2011-2012 academic year and having been accepted in the next intensive course of the second year to be held in September 2012.
(QUIEN PUEDE SOLICITARLA: Estudiantes que hayan completado el primer año del EMTCCM an la Universidad de Valencia en el curso 2011-2012 y que hayan sido aceptados en el próximo curso intensivo del segundo año que tendrá lugar en Septiembre de 2012 )
AMOUNT: The number of grants is 5 (five). The maximal amount of each grant is 1000'- € (one thousand euro).
(DOTACIÓN: El número de ayudas convocadas es 5 (cinco). La cantidad máxima de cada ayuda sera de 1000'- € (mil euros))
DUTIES OF GRANT HOLDERS:
Each granted student must attend the entire International Intensive Course at the organizing foreign University.
She/he must provide the documents required in order to justify the attendance and the expenses. All the expenses must have occurred before December 31, 2012.
(OBLIGACIONES DE LOS BENEFICIARIOS: Cada estudiante beneficiario de una ayuda deberá asisitir a la integridad del curso intensivo organizado en otro país. Deberá igualmente aportar los justificantes necesarios de la asisitencia y de los gastos efectuados, los cuales deberán haberse efectuado antes del 31 de diciembre de 2012 ).

Interested students can apply before 14:00 hours of July 29, 2012
To apply, the following form must be filled (Link) (The form includes an e-mail address to which the resolution will be communicated)
A copy of either the acceptance letter or acceptance e-mail must be provided (in case of doubt, the director of the master will verify the acceptance from the organizers of the course)
(SOLICITUDES: Los estudiantes interesados pueden presentar la solicitud hasta las 14:00 horas del 29 de julio de 2012 . Para ello, deben completer el formulario siguiente: (Link). (En el formulario se indicará una dirección e-mail a la que se desea que se comunique la resolución de esta convocatoria)
AWARDING:
The applications will be studied by the director of the master and at least two PDI members of the CCA (Comisión de Coordinación Académica) and the resolution will be communicated to the applicants into two days of the time limit at the e-mail address provided in the application form.
(ADJUDICACIÓN: Las solicitudes serán estudiadas por el director del master y al menos dos miembros de la Comisión de Coordinación Académica, CCA, y la resolución se comunicará en el plazo de 48 horas desde el fin de la convocatoria a la dirección e-mail indicada en el formulario)
ADDITIONAL CONDITIONS:
This grant is compatible with others covering the same purposes provided that the total amount of expenses appropriately justified is not exceeded.
Only travel expenses in public transport media can be covered.
Once the expenses derived from the international intensive course have been covered, a part of the grant must be also applied to expenses derived from other formation activities of the grantee related with training tracks of the academic activity of the master in a foreign country authorized by the director of the master and the student's tutor. In no case the total amount granted to the same student will be larger than 1000'- €
(CONDICIONES ADICIONALES: Esta ayuda es compatible con otras para los mismos fines siempre que no se supere la cantidad del gasto producido y debidamente justificado. Los gastos de viaje deben corresponder a medios públicos. Una vez se hayan cubierto los gastos derivados del curso internacional, el resto de la ayuda puede aplicarse a gastos derivados a otras actividades de formación del beneficiario relacionados con tramos de movilidad de la actividad académica del master en otro país autorizados por el director del master y del tutor o supervisor del estudiante. En ningún caso la cantidad total asignada a un estudiante podrá ser mayor de 1000'- euros )
